PARENTS

Parents are reminded that parking outside of the school gates is prohibited due to the safety concerns of children crossing the road. This will be regularly monitored by the Community Police.

School times

Breakfast Club
All children are welcome to attend the breakfast club. It is held in the dining hall and starts at 8 a.m. There are teaching assistants on duty to supervise the children. They can offer help and support for children with their home work or reading.

At 8.45 the children should be in lined up in their class groups

School Bank

Every Tuesday morning during Breakfast Club the School Bank is open. Those children wanting to open an account or have any concerns should see Mrs Cheema.

Morning Session
Lower School: Years 3 & 4 8.45 am – 12.00 pm
Upper School: Years 5 & 6 8.45 am – 12.30 pm

Lunchtime
Lower School: Years 3 & 4 12.00 – 1.00 pm
Upper School: Years 5 & 6 12.30 – 1.30 pm

Home Time
All school 3.15 pm

There is a fifteen-minute break in the morning session only.

School Uniform
All children are expected to wear school uniform or school colours. We hope that the wearing will promote a sense of pride and belonging in our community.

New parents
Children who join the school mid term are provided with a buddy. This is a classmate who will help them to settle into the class and routines of the school.

Swimming
All pupils in years 3, 4 and 5 attend swimming lessons at East Ham leisure Centre for one session per week per term throughout the year.

Year 3 Classes

All children will need:

•  Towel

•  Brush/comb

Boys must wear swimming trunks (not long shorts). Girls must wear swimming suits. All children need to wear a swimming hat.

Jewellery is not allowed to be worn in the pool and we suggest that it is not brought to school on the day of the lesson.
