Anti-bullying Week 2021
Anti-bullying Week is coordinated by the Anti-bullying Alliance and takes place from the 15th November to 19th November 2021. This year’s theme is ‘One Kind Word' and our approach towards others should be one filled with love and kindness.
The start of Anti-bullying Week is always recognised by everyone wearing odd socks, highlighting our uniqueness and the fact that it is ‘OK’ to be different.
Last Thursday, Year 6 students participated in Anti-bullying workshops led by Sasha Jacques from OpenView Education. This week, children from Years 3 to 5 will be watching the online workshop and will produce ‘a kind word’ statement as their reflection.
During their PSHCE lesson, they created kindness cards for another class, teacher, support staff or another student to say thank you or brighten up their day.
Children’s excellent work is also found on the Top Hall corridor display.
Children wrote reflections based on their learning during Anti-bullying Week.
