Sun Awareness Week 2020

Every year, the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) runs a national campaign around skin cancer called Sun Awareness, which includes national Sun Awareness Week in May.
This year’s Sun Awareness Week will be held from the 4th - 10th May 2020. Children and adults are encouraged to learn more about sun safety.
In order to raise awareness, children in Years 3 - 6 will create leaflets to inform the public about the importance of staying safe in the sun and provide important advice.
Always remember THREE words:
WRAP- wear a long sleeved top.
SPLAT- wear high-factor sunscreen.
HAT- protect your head and eyes.
